Summer Phyto Recipes

Phyto Nectars are delicious both hot and cold.  As we head into summer we have some refreshing summer recipes.

Here are our favourite ways created by Michael and Katia.  Michael is a world renowned drinks specialist, Katia ran a health food cafe for over 8 years, selling over 50 smoothies a day.  These recipes, will keep you cool, excited, healthy and inspired.

 

Beauty Breeze 

Be cool by the pool, or at least imagine you are by a pool with this beauty soda kissed with fresh pomegranate for those Radiant afternoons. 

1x Sachet I am Radiant

Splash of warm water (15 Mil)

50ml Fresh pomegranate or cranberry juice or bottled

x3 rasberries

Juice of half an orange

Sparkling mineral water

Ice

Method

Make a paste by stirring or whisking sachet of Radiant with a splash of warm water.  Add ice to shaker and raspberries, juice or orange and cranberry or pomegranate.  Shake.  Strain in a cooled glass with ice and top up with a splash of sparkling water. 

Watermelon dreamin'

1 sachet of I AM RADIANT

Chunks of watermelon (without seeds)

Squeeze of lime

Ice

Method

In a blender add watermelon, ice and lime juice.  Blend til smooth and enjoy.

Or simply make a paste and add sparkling water, it is so refreshing.

 

 

 

Iced Focus

A kick ass iced latte championed by our founder Katia 

1x Sachet of I am Focused

150ml Milk of your choice

Ice

Glass

Method

Warm a little of the milk (50ml) – in a glass make a paste by stirring or whisking the warm milk and sachet of I am Focused –  pour over the remaining 100ml of milk – add ice, stir and serve.  If you want it sweeter, add a sweetener of your choice. 

*If you have a cocktail shaker, stir or whisk x1 sachet in shaker with 50ml of warm milk, add ice to the shaker, shake and strain over ice and the remaining milk into a glass

For an iced Mocha – follow the steps for the iced focus, just add a shot of coffee. 

Focused Smoothie

150 mil milk

1 tbsp cacao nibs

1 tbsp cacao

1/2 banana frozen

1 packet of focus

1 date

You can also add a shot of expresso and make an iced mocha

Method:

I always like to keep some bananas in the freezer, if you have never frozen a banana, here’s how.  Peel bananas ( preferably ones that are ripe to just over) and fill a ziplock back or lay in a Tupperware. If you don’t have frozen banana just add a handful of ice.

Add all the ingredients into a blender and blend til smooth.  Enjoy.

 

 

 

Orange and rosemary resilient spritz

To the bottom of a cocktail shaker

1x sachet I AM RESILIENT
Splash of warm water (15 Mil)
Stir
Add juice of half and orange, preferably blood orange
Sprig of rosemary
15 mil Honey water (3 parts honey, 1 part water)
Ice
Shake and strain into a chilled glass over ice.  Garnish with a wedge of orange and sprig of rosemary.

Summer Resilient Spritz 

A beautifully vibrant afternoon pick-me-up. 

1x Sachet I am Resilient

150ml Sparkling mineral water

1x Slice of citrus – (grapefruit or lemon) 

Ice

Glass

Method

In a glass, make a paste with a splash of sparkling water and the sachet of I am Resilient, top with more sparkling water, add ice and garnish with slice of fresh citrus. 

Resilient Smoothie

150mil orange juice or milk

1/2 mango

1/2 banana

1 packet of resilience

Method:

I AM RESTED spritz

1 Sachet of I AM RESTED

15 mil water to make a paste

Top up with sparkling water and a squeeze of lemon juice. 

 

I AM RESTED blueberry smoothie

1 x sachet of I AM RESTED

150-200 mil coconut water or milk of your choice

3/4 cup frozen blueberries

1 tsp milled hemp (optional)

1 tsp spirulina (optional)

5 sprigs coriander

1 peeled orange

flax seed oil (optional)

Method:  Chuck it all int he blender and enjoy.
